Getting to know our March Guest Designer

You had a chance to see a little bit of Ro’s work in yesterday’s Challenge, The Sound of Music.

DSDTGuest_Ro If you haven’t already visited her blog, Toodle Noodle Creative be sure to drop by to say hello! We just caught up with her while she was busy crafting away to get to know her a little better.

1. What’s your favourite drink when crafting?

Generally I have a bottle of flavored water because it has a lid and I can avoid making a huge mess. But I’ve been known to craft with a nice glass of wine or an ice cold beer! As long as I set them off to the side!

2. What’s your favourite colour to craft with?

I use a lot of black, white and kraft paper. It’s a good base for a lot of different projects. Pretty much any kind of patterned paper or colors I use will go with one of those three.

3. What’s the #1 tool you cannot live without?

Gosh! It’s awfully difficult to pick just ONE! I am such a gadget queen! Besides the basics (adhesives, cutters and paper), I would have to say the tool I reach the most for is my Martha Stewart Scoring Boards. I have both sizes and use them for almost every project I do.

4. Glue: Liquid or tape?

Oh, definitely tape! I do NOT have the patience to wait for liquid glue to dry. The only time I use it is when I have something too tiny to use the tape on.

5. Your fave project

I have a few things I am particularly proud of. But I have to say my most favorite one is a card I made for a dear friend of mine who was battling cancer (unfortunately, she lost the battle but went out fighting). I would send her a card every few days to let her know I was thinking of her and to give her some encouragement. This particular one just gets me every time.

Drunken Stampers Challenge #106 ~ Cut, Crop and Die

Ha ha! I know the title sounds a little dramatic! It is a title of a book in the book series “Scrap-n-Craft Mystery”. Not only is there a mystery to be solved that involves scrap booking but it also provides you practical scrap booking tips! Too funny! Now I haven’t read it but Suzanne has 🙂

For this week’s challenge, we’re getting out our die cutting machines or punches! Let’s see what you can cut out! 🙂

Drunken Stampers Challenge #47 ~ Christmas Drunken Stamper’s Style!

It was great to look at your tags and cards with tags from this past challenge! There’s a lot of creativity out there, I just love it!

Drunken Stampers #33 ~ Going round and round in Circles!

We just loved the serenity you shared with us this past week!!!!

Now some of you may have felt a little dizzy from going round and round in circles, perhaps with confusion trying to get everyone, everywhere now that school is back or maybe it’s because you’re dancing round and round with joy! No matter the case at Drunken Stampers we are!! So the challenge is to use circles on your card!! Notice the plural! 😉
